Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Adjust manually' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Adjust manually' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My 2002 Carrera has sport seats and my 2002 Turbo has regular leather seats (not plush leather). How easy is to swap the seats?
Also, there is a control module by the drivers seat with 3 memory positions in the Turbo. If I put the sport seats in the turbo, will the memory position buttons work with the sport seats? My carrera does not have memory on the sport seats ... possibly because there really is only one electric adjustment.
Thanks in advance for the replies!
VERY easy. All you need is a set of inverted torx sockets. Be sure not to turn on your keys on either car until the seats are properlyswapped & plugged into the airbag system. Turning the car on will result in an airbag light.

Thanks! Do you know if the seat memory controls on the turbo will work with the sport seats from the carrera? The turbo has full power seats - I imagine these will work just the same (without any modifications) when in the carrera?
Are the Carrera sport seats power seats? The motor is in the seat. I presume they are not, since pwer seats will have the memory buttons. If not power seats, then no, the memory controls , which are on the turbo door sill, will not work. But the seats can still be adjusted manually.
By the same token, if the Carrera original seats are not power, then putting in the TT power seats in the Carrera
may
not work. The seats will go in, yes, but there will be no power. The power seats will not have power, and since there are no manual levers, you will not be able to adjust them at all.
Both the Turbo and Carrera have power seats. However the Sport seats in the Carrera have just one power adjustment (I think recline ... the rest of the adjustments are manual) and no memory. The seats in the Turbo have a full range of adjustments and 3 memory settings. I'm guessing the seats should work as intended with the swap.
I tried that in my 02C2 and the turbo (2001 TT) memory seats would NOT work because the wiring wasn't compatable. I'd have been happy just to get the electrics to work without the memory but the connectors were not installed.
Easy enough to check out since you have both cars. As Chad said, 4 torx bolts per seat. The multiple lead connectors should be the same. The only question would be if there is power in
all
the right leads. Give it a try, and lets us know how it works out. Good luck!
