I have to make a fast 10 hour run from Florida to Cackalacky and am past the service miles on the fluid in my Tip.

can I just drain 1 liter of fluid from my tip drain plug and replace it with exactly the same amount of fresh fluid ? I have to make a fast 10 hour run from Florida to Cackalacky and am past the service miles on the fluid in my Tip. here are the instructions to change the Tip fluid. Dilute ~9 quarts of used fluid with ~1 quart of new fluid, and leave the old filter in there? Hard for me to see what the benefit could be, except possibly as a superstitious sacrifice to the gods of ZF.
