This is not a probability of success.

As for 19" I think they look good but not enough to change too, if I had 17 I probably would go that way...maybe

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

when I got the car it had swirl marks everywhere. I am fortunate that a friend of mine is awesome with a buffer, new tires, new PSS9, balancing turned out sweet, the switches showed up yesterday for the DIY g-door and tail... one night this week will do. So what do you think do i need spacers...I see some of the cars the tire looks a little further out???? any thoughts oh...body parts what do you think and where to get them...which one's to stay away from My thought turbo front... I like the look.... side's and back i have no choice yet been looking jerry

POST 2Original post

Jerry - VERY nice l@@king! If you wanted to do so, yo could add 7mm spacers. You could also go with a GT I front bumper and then add the OEM MK I side skirts. Are you going to do the mod stock mufflers to sound like PSE? If you can get your hands on some 3.6L ('02 - '04) mufflers, do the MK II version of the mod. Otherwise do the MK I version of the mod.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I did the mod PSE...per you request and it sounds much better...Thank for the pic I did it my self MKII My car is an 02 does the GT I, have the two big sq inlets on both sides?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

does the 7mm spacer negatively affect the car at all or the handling? and do you have to go to studs?

POST 6Original post

Quotes source post: 4733934

Sorry, I thought your car was an '01. My bad. Then go with the MK II skirts. It will work with both a GT MKII or Turbo front bumper. NO, it's the Turbo bumper that has the two "bowling ball" openings. I can't remember who has and has not done the PSE. With all of that said, it has become very clear to me that my previous post was wrong in so many ways, to the point that it was totally useless. Other than that it was "spot on!"

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The day that they posted their sponsorship, I saw them but never called to get a price. Does anybody know their $ on the conversions?

POST 10Original post

Quotes source post: 4734093

Here's the link to the announcement of there sponsorship....there is a link to there site. Sorry no prices. https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ferrerid=54027 IMHO what I am reading in your messages Misha probably will fit you perfectly.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ya S.D. I saw that.... what is up with that no $??? anybody buy from them???

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I like the Misha 997 front conversion for a 996

POST 13Original post

that's a lot of money to dump on a car to get it to be something it's really not not a fan of spacers. save your $ and save up for a set of 19s.

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Benjamin, Not sure if I understand what you are saying? changing the front bumper and adding side skirts and adding a wing gets it to something its not? As for 19" I think they look good but not enough to change too, if I had 17 I probably would go that way...maybe I do like the 02 five spoke look better than what I have....but I had to give up some of my wants when looking for a used car

POST 15Original post

Jerry, Car looks very nice and clean the way it is. Cabs always looked better understated without all the body kits. Ben is correct. spacers aren't the hot set up. Save up for wider 19" if you want to fill the wells out a bit more.

POST 16Original post

Quotes source post: 4734604

Hey wait a minute......I love body kits on Cab's......:

POST 17Original post

I put 15mm spacers front and back and had the P lowered with H&R....looks great and didn't have any problems.
