Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

I just changed it myself on last Tuesday because Porsche wanted $9 for 0-40 and to charge $200-$250, meanwhile, I was getting an oil change on my ML430 next door with the same amount of oil but was using 5-40 @ $5.50 per bottle for $89.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261027T154520Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

How do you deal with the maintainance record book? Do you just complete it yourself and file the reciepts?

POST 3Original post

exactomundo. I even had a stamp made for my garage to enter into the book.

POST 4Original post

I don't use the book, I just write the mileage on the receipt for the oil filter or oil and file it with the rest of the Porsche receipts. The dealership doesn't log anything in my book but I assume it's in their computer records. I just changed it myself on last Tuesday because Porsche wanted $9 for 0-40 and to charge $200-$250, meanwhile, I was getting an oil change on my ML430 next door with the same amount of oil but was using 5-40 @ $5.50 per bottle for $89.

POST 6Original post

I arrange for my back to be tattoed for each maint. interval. I look like a totem pole. J

POST 7Original post

I have a sheet of paper from a 5 X 7 note pad stapled to the back of my maintenance book where I write down what work was done, the date and the mileage.

POST 8Original post

I keep it in my head...and when I sold my 140,000 mile 928 and the guy brought a shop teacher to check it out after a few minutes of listening to me go through every inch of the car he had no questions.....let alone worries about oil changes I am way over the top on this car thing

POST 9Original post
