Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I think that the x74 would of been more than fine...I will set the hight and if i want to change I can (probably will not) but I can ajust the shocks for a softer ride off track (will see if I even do that)
Leading evidence: 'Use ramva c2 diy' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace i can (probably will not)' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. Anybody use the Eibach sway-bars they say, I don't need to modify the drop link but others say most sway-bars need modifying....any thoughts
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I could not get a definitive answer on when I would see X74...all the dealers that I called did not have it...did not say back order but would not give me a date if i ordered
So I started looking at the PSS9 and they will be here Friday!!
I also ordered Eibach Sway bars set.

I do need some help, I could not find a DIY on a C4, I really would like to do this...I am going to do this...any body know of some good links that would help this venture, that would be greatly appreciated!!
Jerry
You done good pilgrim.....you're going to like the PSS9's. Have you tried over on RennList in their DIY section? You have to be a contributing member to get into the DIY section, but it's worth the small investment. Trouble is....I'm not sure if they have a DIY for the C4...
I'm sure you will love the PSS9. But for others reading this thread. Gert at Carnewal always has x74 in stock and usually can have them delivered to you in 3 days. That is where I got mine and they had the best price as well.

+1 on Gert
I think at this moment the only problem will be the conversion rate because the dollar is in the toilet currently
BTW Jerry...sorry I did not get back to your PM sooner, been out of town on business.
GL with the PSS9
The install is the same except you may need to unbolt the front half-shaft. I posted a C2 DIY here a little while ago, and I know someone used it to do the job on their C4.
make sure the flat small 2nd spring goes in the front. If you put the thicker 2nd spring up front, you will bottom out the adjustment and will limit the lowering capabilites because of the thicker spring...
Thanks all Looks like they are on time for this weekend install!!! We will see.
Speed, no worries! Thanks for all the help, got the breaks set up, probably will do at the same time.

Jerry,
I used RamVA C2 DIY on my C4S. I will do the followings prior to his procedure.
1. Loosen the strut (center nut that hold the spring) nut by a turn. If you don't have air tool, this step will save you sometime to fight with this nut when the strut is out.
2. Take the Front wheel off and pop out the center porsche cap. Put the wheel back, drop the car. Have someone apply the brake while you undo the drive shaft fastening at the wheel side. The nut is very tight (340 ft lb)
Other hints:
Use ball joint press out tool for ball joint removal. it's about $25. Fork may damage the rubber boot. Avoid damaging the boot, I put a bit grease on press out tool, which slip into the boot very easy.
Lift both front side up, it will be easier to undo the droplink.
Is Eibach swaybar adjustable? I am not sure if the OEM droplink will work. OEM droplink may not support the stifness of the eibach swaybar. I blended the front OEM droplink with OEM swaybar. Later, I mod to GT3 swaybar and using TRG droplinks.
Good Luck!
MTB

They keep telling me I get all the stuff i need with the Eibach sway-bars (Time is the teller of all Tails) we will see.
As for tools I am a nut, I bought a lift for my garage , I am getting to old (lazy) for back work, Lift install tomorrow car this weekend.
Cheers
Jerry
