Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

In the process of undertaking the remote antenna mod, I discovered that the roof liner can be unhooked on the sides, and with a little effort, you can see inside to inspect the sunroof mechanism. Also visible is the metal strut (for lack of a better word) which stretches the liner accross the roof just behind the sunroof. I have had a rattle from this area since I got the car - and it has been the source of great annoyance. While poking around in there, I found that the strut, as luck would have it of course on the passenger side, had popped out of the clip (sleeve) which attaches it to the roof. A gentle push and a pop later, the strut is tight - the rattle is no more. Hope it lasts. Stefan
