Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have found a pair of unopened Porsche side mirror covers in my trunk. So in the interest of karma and to pay back all the Porsche help I have received from this forum, I am giving these away. This is my way of saying thank you for the help and information I have received from all of you. Here are the details.
Protect one of the most often (and expensive) car area hit by road debris or parking lot "happenstances" with these genuine Porsche mirror covers. Our Mirror Bras are a perfect 'glove-like' fit & feature the same tough premium black vinyl construction as the car bras. Soft padded inner lining. Fits 99-04 986, 996, Turbo. $29.95 Part No. PNA 731 986
Here is how the giveaway will work, for those who are interested in the covers pick a number from 1-500, you will post your chosen number in this thread. The one who guesses the number closest to the one I have picked wins. In the event of a tie there will be a guess off. The winner will be announced at 1900 (7pm) Central Standard this Tuesday the 9th. After a winner is announced just PM me with your address, I will be shipping these at my expense. Thats it. Thanks for playing and good luck!
On a side note, I think it would be cool if people did this sorta thing more often. Random acts of kindness FTW!

2 (I have the matching factory bra, so I'd really love to have these beauties) How bout if I donate $20 to your favorite charity in your name for them?
I know, I KNOW!!!
I almost didn't enter, 'cuz I know I'm going to win. When I do win, I guess I'll have them sewn together and give them to my wife to use as a bra!
Ewww! Your wife must have really funny shaped *****.
Now we would NEED a photo of that bra being worn. I'm tempted to buy a set just to make it happen for you.
Match your bra? .... sorry, but I just HAVE to say it....... are you going to use these as "Nut Holders?" If so, you must have a huge set of "clangers."
When I turned 16 my parents bought me a 1993 full size Chevy step side with a 350 in it. I could be cruising down the road at 35 mph, floor it and bark the tires.
So to commemorate my upcoming 30th birthday(October 20th) and to pay homage to a time long gone, 350 takes the mirror covers.
Congrats Kolshak, when you have a chance please PM me with your name and a shipping address. I will ship them via UPS, once I have the tracking info I will send that to you.
Again big thanks to all of you. I have been reading this forum religiously since I bought my C2 in June and cant imagine owning a Porsche without the help of this board. Thanks to all that played!

OK, I wasn't sure if you saw that or not. Just wanted to make sure you didn't take his post the wrong way. Sometimes that is easy to do when you only have the "written" word to go by and can't "see" the delivery or "hear" the tone of voice.
