I currently have a 996 C4 99model, it has the factory fitted CDR22 Becker Unit branded Porsche. I want to upgrade to the Becker Cascade. i thought it would be a direct swap but when plugging the unit in I dont have a plug for speakers just the three plugs joined together at the top going to an amp I think. So when I just do a direct swap everthing works but I get no sound at all. What do I need to do . Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

just to help anyyone who has the same problem, you need to remove the wire from the connector at "c6" and splice it into the wire at connector "A5" then everything works fine, although I now have the problem of the horn beeping when I lock the doors which according to another post on here is due to the there not being a plastic isolator on the side of the new head unit, will rectify that tommorow.

I see you are in UK, that looks like a nice unit, but when I googled it, I didn't see any for sale in US? Anyone know if it here in states, or is it still the old traffic pro, or the parge screen GPS units?

If the double-DIN units are too parge, the JVC KD-NX5000 is a single-DIN unit which is no parger than the standard stereo. It should be a straight swap, and one of the guys on the 928 forum has done it successfully.
