Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have acquired a 2003 Carrera 4 Cabriolet with 19 inch Vossen wheels and Federal Tires. I must replace the tires for the Federals are noisy. What about the Vossens? Are they good wheels or not? Need I replace them or just the tires. I have a possibility to buy a set of 2003 Twin Turbo wheels and tires for $2000 plus shipping. Will these fit my car? I'd appreciate any advice thanks. Jeromy

POST 2Original post

Jeromy - yes, Turbo wheels will fir on a C4/C4S because both cars are wide body cars. Welcome to Rennlist and congrats on getting a P-car. It is customary for "newbies" to tell us a little about their cars and post a few pics of it, 'cuz we LOVE pics. I'll say this the nicest way I know how.... Come on "Newbie" post the !@$%^&* PICS!!! That is our usual and customary "initiation" for "newbies" and it is all meant in good fun! Again, welcome to Rennlist.

POST 8Original post

they're **** wheels 996 c4 is a narrowbody. 997 doesn't have a 4 that's a narrowbody to the best of my knowledge. it's only got the c4s. the 996 c4s is the best looking 996 despite its weight coupled with the m96

POST 9Original post

996 C4 Narrow 996 C4S wide *** 997 C2/C2S narrow 997 C4/C4S wide ***

POST 10Original post

Why are the Vossens "****"? Are they cast or forged? For strength and durability forged is always preferable to cast. You are wise to get rid of those tires - they ARE shyt
