These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

parked next to a 997 in the delaer makes me want a 997 instead.
I wish i could afford a 997.
If anybody wants a white cab this one is it. Located in the OKC p-dealer.
cheers.
I've had so many cars, trucks and motorcycles since I've had my license almost 42 years that the feeling of having a brand new anything or the very latest model means very little to me. My wife and I took the '99 Carrera Cab to breakfast this morning and afterward walking toward it in the far corner of the parking lot I felt like a lucky man to own such a beautiful car.
I have either riden one of motorcycles or taken the Jeep to work for the last two weeks nad not driven the P car much. Even if I bought a new 997, I don't think I would appreciate it any more than I do my 996. Maybe it was the 15 months I spent trying to locate the perfect example with exactly all the right stuff that payed off and I continue to enjoy the fruits of my search.
Does that sound weird?
Nope, I feel the same way. I suppose I could have afforded to purchase a "fancier" 911 than my C4, like a TT or C4S, but now I'm glad I didn't--the car I have is perfect for me and I'll probably keep it for a decade or so like my last sports car.
More speed will just get me in trouble...mods will just go to waste as I only put about 5K miles on the car per year...I couldn't be more pleased with a used 996.
the 997's cool, but i'm looking for a more radical departure and i'm hoping the 998 is much more convincing along this front esp with the R8 absolutely ripping it up in the press and i mean look at the results in person. the styling is dramatic in a good way and really sets the R8 up for future success.
not to get your 911 panties in a bunch but while i still appreciate the heritage of the 911 shape, porsche needs to be able to pull off the history/future design almalgamation point blank with the 998 because the 997 wasn't it, ain't it, and won't be it.
i'm looking forward to what the future brings even if i am an F-car kinda guy.
