Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Happy new owner of an 03 C2 Cab. Very glad to join this family! Pictures coming soon.
A quick newbie question
Is there a compelling reason to put the top up when I park in my garage versus leaving it down? I worry about creasese damaging the fabric if I leave it down.
Your thoughts or experiences are welcome! Thanks.
Your instincts are quite correct....you can leave it down for a day or two, but you want to keep the fabric stretched tight to prevent those wrinkles and creases that your already referred to. Go to the RaggTop site and learn all about the care and feeding of a soft top.
I put my hard top on my ’03 Cab for the winter. This means that the top stays down for a period of at least 4 months. I haven’t seen any problem related to this. I do not have any wrinkel problem.

Yep, end of next month the hard top goes on and then will stay on until late March or so. The amount of salt the Germans lay down on their roads is unbelievable.
I probably only raise my top a handfull of times a year. Any wrikles go away after sitting in the sun for a couple of hours. I have a cab area cover i use to keep the dust out in the garage.

Story of my life; one bad decision after another. Doh!
+1 on "you're fine either way"
I've tried it both ways with my other cars, with both cloth and vinyl tops. I've never found that either way makes a difference, other than soft tops being a bit snug after being in the down position all winter while a hard top is affixed to the car.
Top up to minimize dust. It's the only reason. I used to think that leaving the top down would lead to increased creasing, but then I realized that l leave it down all winter when my hardtop is installed.
