Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Nicolaas...I placed 2x4's across the length of the tire rack in order to spread out the weight and used anchor bolts to secure them to the joists.

Luckily I only do it once a year when changing my summer to winter tires.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

WOW..this summer went by so fast. Although I did spend time at the beach relaxing and working on my tan, I also managed to get a few project done at home and on the P-cars. One of my project consisted of redoing my garage and picking up this 951 with 89K miles. I wanted to take a moment to share it with you guys.
If you had any projects (small or large) or are planning, please post away. BTW..my next project is a 60K service on my 996..whats your?
FLY...I actually went with the Armstrong VCT tile route for cost reasons.
Van...I had some dead space up in the ceiling so I decided to take advantage of it by placing a tire rack and shelves for storage. I do have to go up a ladder for the tires which isnt so bad. Luckily I only do it once a year when changing my summer to winter tires.
Nicolaas...I placed 2x4's across the length of the tire rack in order to spread out the weight and used anchor bolts to secure them to the joists. The rack is secured by straps from the ceiling and at 45 degrees, actually I went the overkill route for that reason.
what are your experiences w/your 951? a co-worker offered his for $4k, 120k miles, turbo, its an '86. he claims that everything is working, "but don't forget its a used car". im tempted.
All I can tell you is there is no such thing as a cheap Porsche! Buying parts for a 951 will break the bank! Been there, done that with my 944 S2. Just a friendly warning!
Carlos, if it passes a good porsche PPI, you probably can't go too wrong for that price. Now, if it needs another $5k of work, then it's not such a bargain - but still is a fun car!
