Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

saw this on the audi website:
2004 Audi A4 1.8T quattro AWD Price: $20,996
Miles: 30,237
Transmission: Automatic
anyone has exp. with A4 quattro as commute car? i think the price is good.
is there a "rennlist for audi" website?
I have my 03
A6
6-Speed CPO Quattro silver/black with 56k for $25k obo... Only reason for selling is too many cars right now. Fantastic daily that is fun yet really roomy and comfortable. Has shades built into the doors and automatic shade for the rear.
95993 thx for offering, however i only considing tip for commute.
i found A4 quattro are excellent deals, best bang for the buck. i started with BMW 3 series, but they are much more exp. than A4s, esp. AWD ones.
yep I've had mine for over 5 years, they run great, I find the interiors to be well laid out, rarely break down, basically amazing cars for the money. WE have taken it to Canada in the winter several times and it is awesome in bad conditions. We wouldn't be without one.
I have an A4 daily driver still. It's awesome in the snow when I take it snowboarding, and awesome in the rain (we get a lot here in the pacific northwest.
Inexpensive mods and non-flashy.
I like the new Audi line and thinking about upgrading my SUV to the Q7.
Only thing I would say is get the bigger V6 engine - I'm kinda done with 4 cylinders now
(except may Lotus Elise/Exige)
I've had more Audis than I can count. They're wonderful in wet/snow conditions. Check KBB for pricing, and definitely look at the car in person. CPO is a real plus - As of several months ago, Audi is not allowing transfer of CPO from private owners. I assume this car is from a dealer. As you can see, I have a new S4 on order - it will be my 3rd S4 - theyr'e fast and fun (but heavy. It'll be my daily commuter. As per a previous post,
www.audiworld.com
is a good website for info. Not nearly as good as Rennlist, but some useful info.
Gotcha!! Actually, I picked it up on Autotrader from a dealer in Texas 2 years ago with 17K miles and bought it sight unseen. It's been a good car - but I "loaned" it to my son in med school. See, I (I mean we) actually drove it!
I love it! I knew that car had too many miles to be one of yours from new.
Assuming that you cannot join us on the 13th, PM me if you're available for a drive on Sept 30th.
What's up on the 30th? Organized drive, or will I just be riding in yours? I'm picking up on my NOAA that the weather guys are predicting the first major snow on that date in Philly, so we'll have to play it day to day.
you can pick up an allroad for about that price now, they depreciate like crazy
I still love my 2004 2.7t 6spd, I'll keep it a long time
much safer for kids, more comfortable than an a4, built like a tank and it can go anywhere, it can even tow 3500lbs
Yeah, Audis do depreciate - especially S4s. But, I'm buying it for long term so I don't care all that much. I would have leased an AWD BMW, but couldn't warm up to it. I like the allroad, but don't want a wagon or SUV at this point. Kids are grown.
they are not in car seat now.
older one is 5 years old, younger one is 3 years old.
i use toddler seat. i think they should be fine, it's a 5 minutes, less than 2 miles short drive from my house to day-care.
for the same $$, i would get a smaller and newer A4.
Dry run for the next drive. Me and spiderv6 going for a run to see if the roads that we'll be using are any fun and find the places we'll be stopping for food and gas.
Pl sorry to hear you cannot make it on the 13th. We'll have you along in the spring I'm sure.
Sure, we had 2 Cayennes along at the last drive without any issues. The only thing we ask is that the large cars give the smaller cars plenty of space and promise not to squish anyone.
Any SUV can be an issue if it's followed too closely, or follows another car too closely, but if plenty of space if given back and front, then I don't see any issues.
OH MY GOD, STOP!!!! You're going to get me killed!!!!
My wife is sleeping at the other end of the house but I'm afraid I'll wake her up 'cuz I'm laughing so loudly! Every time I visualize your son and Phil in the car seats, I burst out laughing. I've GOT to see a pic of that!
Phil religated to a car seat!!!
Maybe that will convince him to drive the C4S!!!
Actually Tim, I'm pretty short and won't take up much room. Plus, if there's anything wrong with Wayne's kid, I can take care of him right there in the car! Wayne, order me one of those nice Recaro car seats and I'll be there!! Promise not to tell you how to drive, either.
My son already has a Recaro in each of our cars.
I could easily shuffle a second one into the Carrera.
As for my driving... I think that my previous drives have been described as white knuckle roller coaster drives.
