Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that suspect a cause

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suspected cause
I suspect your $3k will cost you a fair amount of power.
Leading evidence: '$3k will cost you a fair amount of power' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is '$3k will cost you a fair amount of power' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I could justify the wings, wheels, and skirts.... But the voice in my head that says, wait a minute, you mean its the exact same as the evoms (that was possibly conversely too much as it is) except its made of Carbon fiber (which you cant tell unless the hood is open)..... This requires more thought!!!! IMO!
How much does side skirts, rear wing and front bumper after painting cost &
there is no (practical) performance increase.
He puts his car on display during a parking lot show & pops his hood &
it's pretty impressive to say the least......to each their own I say.
The red vs. yellow debate has been going on for eons. I still need to see the data that supports red is faster than yellow. Until then, it's yellow oil cap for me.
Looks good, but I heard that there was some issues with this as I was THINKING about it at one point....What I decided to do if I REALLY wanted that was to do a custom carbon fiber stock one...would probably cost me $100 in materials and I could get an OEM airbox for about $200 if I look.....so $300 and it performs just like the $3k one, and looks very similar....but I agree with B. Choi...(damn I hate saying that...lol) and think its somewhat a waste...what other modes have been done? I can think of LOTS of things to do before that....
Well I disagree....with my stock bumper, the front of my car felt like it had way too much air under it and I could feel the front wheels losing grip at speeds over 80+ mph...now with a new front I am rock solid....so body panels can have an effect on handling...this will have NO performance increases....none....
Evidently you had something wrong with your car as it should not have been
neccessary to put another bumper on for it to be rock solid......were this the case, your new bumper would have had no
(practical)
performance increase....none.....
Not true....due to US bumper height regulations, the front of the 996 is higher and allows more air under it at high speeds, causing a "floaty" feeling at higher speeds....There was nothng wrong with the car...that why a TT or GT3 has more downforce on the front of the car than the stock bumper...Its also why the rear spoiler needs to be addressed if you also get the Aero spoiler for the front because the rear will not have enough downforce compared to the front....
Well put this one on the list as a
All Show No Go
item, might as well chrome it then and make the car strictly a show car...damn I thought we were suppose to drive these cars not pretty them up for car shows. Rather spend the money on outside stuff because at least that can be seen 100% of the time.
3K
Beautiful but kind of a crazy design. It looks like it runs directly above the cats for a couple of feet. Not the best way to get cold air to the intake. I suspect your $3k will cost you a fair amount of power. Looks cool though.
Jim
Save your money and someday get a TT. No need for super high dollar high carbon parts on a not so fast car.
All I am saying is put it towards something usefull.
