Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
Never speed in a neighborhood - things change quickly.
Leading evidence: 'Replace quickly' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace quickly' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

OK, no more videos from me. I'll just read about people doing 106MPH in 50MPH zone. LOL BTW my first gear shift was at 6000 rpm @ 35 MPH so 5 MPH over the limit. WOOOOOO
the only car sound that makes me go wow is the cgt and name your $500K+ supercar. otherwise, all the other cars outside of F-car might as well sound the same.
reading the comments i thought i would be way more pissed, but after watching the video, it was just sad! Im glad the giggling photographer enjoyed it!
Hard to compare speeding on a deserted stretch of highway at 11:00 pm with speeding in a residential neighborhood in the middle of the day.
As for the video, I don't really get it.
After watching the video this old one popped up as the next to watch. Now this is a 996 in it's natural environment. No cops, no kids no giggling cameraman.

You're the kid that the neighborhood absolutely despises. Very egocentric thinking and unable to even have the foresight that kids could be playing in a yard 10 houses up and the baseball goes rolling in the street and one chases it to get it with you worried more about your revs and the giggler recording that you realize within the hour your are in jail and praying that the child pulls through after being rushed to the hospital.
Curious.....how old are you?
Despite the claims of it being a 35 zone - looks to me like a residential neighborhood, which in most parts of the country makes it a 25mph zone. Even if I were drunk I'd say that car was moving faster than 25mph.
Never speed in a neighborhood - things change quickly. At best you end up in a fender bender - a worst a kid dies.
Oh, I'm sure that worse things have been done, but that doens't make it acceptable.
Come back after 2 things have happened: i) you have a kid of your own and ii) you gain the common sense and wisdom that tells you that doing dumb things in an environment where others might get hurt is wrong.
Just something to think about.
hey dude have thick skin and don't mind the flaming so much. comes with the board. I posted once about racing a cbr and boy did the hens cackle. However lots of helpful things to be learned on this board. Remember we all screw-up you just posted yours, which caused most everyone to take the high road.
Even if you take the car out of the neighborhood and go from zero to whatever in a straight line, I still don't get the point of the video. Are you demonstrating that you know how to operate a manual transmission? What exactly motivated you to make a video of what you did? What made you think that others would find it interesting that you know how to accelerate from a stop in first gear without stalling a 911?
My favorite part is the camera man laughing nervously, kind of like when a 14-year old is about to blow something up with an m-80 or throw a sausage at something (not that I would have ever participated in such shenanigans).
I live in a quiet neighborhood, well off the main roads. The last 2 saturdays some asshat in a white civic has torn up the street at 7am shifting at redline into 2nd and continuing at full throttle up the street. Care to guess where I'll be standing this next Saturday morning? Don't be an asshat!
I can tell you that what I thought about this 4 years ago before my son was born and now are entirely different. I do go slow in the hood now but I am all for letting it rip when it is safe. I think most of us were not this conservative or thoughtful when we were youger or before kids ect. and everyone is a little harsh on this topic and this guy not that it makes it right. But I cant figure what the video is showing anyway- I could make one that would **** everyone off way more than that
My car does that too. In fact, I think lots of cars go in a straight line. I would almost bet that every P-car owner's car will do that. Not sure why it's worthy of it's own video.
I can hear you accelerate past the first gear shift. So implying you were going 35 is a little misleading. It's like saying you were going 10 MPH at some point...

With comments like like this I can only assume that you do not have kids. It's not about breaking the law. A first gear redline in a quiet residential neighborhood is completely irresponsible and it didn't sound like you dropped off in second gear. In about one second, a ball could be chased in front of your car and
your life
and the life of that kid will be over. Do yourself a favor and take your car and your camera to a deserted country road or better yet, the track and let it rip! Everyone here loves to hear the sound of a flat six at full song, but certainly not in our neighborhoods around our kids and family!
The claims of 35 mph really don't wash with me considering that I know that I can go from a stoplight at 0 to 40mph before I cross an intersection (roughly 50ft)
...and yes, that's in first gear, so claims of innocence on speed in this case are pretty weak.
