Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Heck, my relatively "heavy" C4S was test by Car & Driver at 4.6 0-60

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I was at a Toronto Film Festival party, and Audi had their new 2008 R8 on display. Needless to say it got loads of onlookers excited, but there was me floating around it thinking, mmm I wonder how it stacks up against my 1998/9 996 stock C2..........let you guys decide for yourself (heh heh heh)

I work for Audi/Porsche dealer and the R8 is an amazing car to look at and to drive. I can't wait until they stuff a 5.2 V10 Bi-Turbo with 580HP in it from the new RS6.
Nice work!!!! Ill show might wife what she could be looking at!! Where the hell were you driving 55 in cruise control? I got it behind a highway patrol for several miles.....
The 0-60 is not a stretch. Car and Driver, I think, got it done in 4.8, which is the number I've heard most often. And the first 996s were relatively light cars.
I have been on the Autobahn with an R8 on my ***. I took my car up to 160MPH and he was with me so pulled to right lane and then pulled back out behind him and drafted off of him. He was faster, but not by much and the drafting saved me some gas, who says I am not green! The R8 is a nice car, if I had the money to pay cash would consider but agree wait for the V10.....but wait Porsche has taken over 50 percent of Volkswagen stock, I wonder how long before this R8 dies.

. I'm sure the clutch took a pretty heavy beating to get to that number.
That's the thing not enough people appreciate, I think, about the 996. In the scheme of things, model for model, 911s didn't get quantum leaps faster from 1999 to the present day. It really is a lot of car for the money.
i think p cars are truly underappreciated and huge value for your money. Travelling through Munich this summer, there were at least two car mags touting the under 20K GBP (40K US) choice cars out there.
