I driving on canvas....still can't make up my mind if I should go for 19" rims black rims. So I need help! What are good tires (remember I am NOT a ttrack driver and live in SOCAL..and only drive in the rain when I HAVE to get home)...I have Michelin Sport PSII in the rear right now and it is a great tire...but expensive and I don't know if cruising 65MPH really is worth this kind of tire) but maybe I am wrong! (wouldn't be the first time! ) So anybody with experience in a certain tire: Bridgestone, Yokohama,Pirelli, Michelin or other please let me know your experience. Images from 996 with black rims are welcome as well!! (19inch would be best) thanks Nicolaas

I used 235/35/19 and 315/25/19 Toyo PROXES T1R on my 19" Lobster's Awesome tire - great grip and ride, nice bead to protect the rim and super wide in the rear with no sidewall distortion issues.

So you are in sunny California and already have a set of PS2's on the rear. So get the same for the fronts. See picture below in my signature of my wheels with PS's and yes they are 19's. BTW...I love these tyres

Black on black looks great. I am tracking with 18" wheels so these are for sale. PM if interested. They are listed in the classified ads. Yeah, I know the silver center caps look stupid but I took them off before getting black ones. These are 997S Wheels painted all black, 19" x 8" and 19" x 11" with Conti Sport Contact 2s with 5K miles. I use Falken Azenis 615s for track and street and they are great. Good luck!
