Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi everyone. Can someone tell me if the plugs are exactly the same for engine oil, transmission oil drain, and transmission oil fill? 2002 C2 Manual. Thanks.

POST 2Original post

Normally the drain plug has a magnet built in, the fill plug does not.

POST 3Original post

I thought they were the same. read it somewhere.

POST 4Original post

I just drained and refilled my 2002 manual targa. I dont think the plugs are the same to the oil plug but they take the same hex socket. The gasket was larger than the oil drain gasket, if I remember correctly.
