Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
Not a problem if you are using the normal jack points but, if you are putting it on jack stands, the DK13 works much better.
Leading evidence: 'Use normal jack points' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use normal jack points' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Looks like it's been a while since the last group buy on these top quality jacks, so I'm gauging interest for another go.
The AC DK13HLQ is a Danish made top quality floor jack that's built for low clearance sports cars and yet allows almost 30" of lift. It's the gold standard, from what I hear. Check it out
here
The current pricing I see at a couple of Internet resellers is between $535-$580. I have yet to contact any to get group buy pricing, but for now simply post a reply if you might be interested.
100% interested. I'd prefer DK20 over DK13 because the 20 goes a little higher and is a little longer, but either would be fine. I'll try to follow the thread, but please e-mail or PM if things get caught up in a shuffle. Thanks.
Jking,
not an ideal track jack at around 80 some lbs., but will be the lifting jewel of your garage. Aluminum race jacks usually weigh in around 40# and are $200 plus or minus $20. Just watch out for real cheap stuff from Harbor Freight etc...
I've been in wanting a DK20 for a while and would be interested in participating.
The pricing for the DK20 I have seen is around $400 with free shipping.
Personally I think the DK13 is a little big for my garage and for the Porsche. It seems to be going for about $575 with shipping.
I'm in if the pricing makes sense.
They are both 3.1" tall when full lowered.
If you are looking for a low profile jack for 1/2 the price of the AC, check out the American Forge and Foundry Model 200T. Only ~$200 with free shipping. I have one and it has no problem getting under my 996 thats been lowered. The jack goes down to 2.75"

The AF 200T jack you linked isn't a long garage jack like the DK13; the 200T is a regular floor jack. The AC DK13 in this thread is 10" longer and goes 9" higher than the AF 200T. The two really don't compare.
I'm comparing it to the DK20 which Orient Express was interested in....height is both around 20" and the lengths are within an inch...ones $400 the 200T is $200 (thats where the 1/2 price came from)
Are we talking about the same DK20? I'm using the link posted by mxdave74.
Here's a quick comparison of the three jacks we're talking about
:
DK13:
lowest height: 3.14"
max height: 28.9"
length of jack: 37"
DK20:
lowest height: 3.14"
max height: 31.3"
length of jack: 37.4"
AF 200T (the one you're talking about):
lowest height: 2.75:
max height: 20:
length of jack: 27"
Comparing those three, the 200T is a regular-size floor jack, while the DK13 and DK20 are extra-long garage jacks with capability to get further under the car and raise the car higher than the 200T.
NKhalidi - The DK20 you are specing out is really the DK20HLQ.....like mxdave74 pointed out. The DK20HLQ retails for $750 and I would agree isn't worth comparing (just in price alone).
Not sure 7 of us is enough to see a worthwhile discount... I'll give it until next week to see if we have other that might be interested.
Apparently the weak dollar (this is a Danish product) and switch to a new US importer has caused these jacks to go up in price around 60% in the last year or two. And apparently our best shot at discount is single drop shipment (we don't pay anny freight in that case). Guess I REALLY should have bought one of these a few years back when I was looking.
Anyway, as mentioned, we'll wait to see whether more folks are interested.
The DK20 matches the DK13's low height of 3.14" but it will 'bind' under the car much sooner than the DK13. Not a problem if you are using the normal jack points but, if you are putting it on jack stands, the DK13 works much better.
Sorry everyone, but this is looking like a bust with less than 10 takers.
Perhaps we can take solace in the fact that the potential for discount really has waned recently and the only way we would see anywhere near 20% in discount was going to be drop shipment, but that requires everyone be in the same geographical area to avoid the $80 shipping cost.
If this thread picks up, I'll be happy to step up again and coordinate, but for now, maybe the Ranger knock-off of the AC is worth considering. At only $250 shipped, I might just do it.
