Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

After 2 months in the shop, I finally got my car back. It's been gone for so long I forgot what it was like. It had been hit by a guy leaving the bar on March 16th, was a DUI hit and run for those of you who remember my postings back then. Not sure what's happening with him, as far as I know his case hasn't gone to court yet. He's not driving any more, I do know that. It's a beautfiul day here too, 85 degrees and blue sky. I just want to go and drive drive drive in it!

POST 2Original post

You've had a LONG wait. I hope they fixed it to your satisfaction. Now go and enjoy it!

POST 3Original post

damn, what happened to the car for it to take that long to fix?

POST 4Original post

Congrats on getting the car back! I can imagine it was a long hard wait.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Safeco took forever. They waited over three weeks before accepting responsibility becaues they couldn't get ahold of their insured (who was in jail for the wreck the first few days). Finally I started calling Safeco every two hours and that only took two days for them to make their decision. Then there were a couple supplemental billings for extra damage and Safeco dragged their feet on that too. Just seemed to be one thing after another. Sure feels good to have the car back though. Took it out for a nice drive with the wife last night, cruising along around 60 and the passenger rear tire blows out. Go figure. Took about 20 mins to put the spare on. I've got some good pics I'll post of it.

POST 6Original post

Damn dude. You don't need a mechanic. You need an exorcist. -Charles

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Believe me, that ran though my head. But things run in 3's, and I've now had 3 things happen - deer hit in December, DUI hit and run in March, blow-out last night. I should be good for a while (knocking on wood!).
