I have a 2003 C4S. I went to buy a battery at Auto Zone, also checked Advance and NAPA. The batteries thay have, two sizes, neither match my Porsche factory size in dimensions. They are either 13" or around 9-10 ". Since these fit in a fixed tray and the hold dpwn is fixed, which battery do I buy? My factory battery measures 12" long and about 7" wide. Has anyone else come across this? Thank you

You don't want BCI group 48. You will need either 91 or 93 group battery. Either will fit the car. Group 48 will not have the proper reserve capacity.

48 works fine in many cars - certainly in Las Vegas where there is no winter.
