Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

for the past three weeks, however, i have noticed my low beams will not come on.....almost everything else works fine.....checked and replaced the fuses with known working fuses.....it appears it is the fuses.....low beams still don't work.....
Leading evidence: 'Replace fuses' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check power at the head lamp fuses' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suggestion
Of course the connector and wiring to the switch should be inspected for problems before you replace the switch.

now, the weird thing is when driving home one night about 1 wk ago (yes, shame on me, lazy and using fog lights only)....i noticed the low beams came on for a minute or two...then went back off.....they have only worked that one time......
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

my '02 911 C4 cab had a one low beam go out 4 mos ago....bulb burned out so i replaced it with no problems........
for the past three weeks, however, i have noticed my low beams will not come on.....almost everything else works fine.....checked and replaced the fuses with known working fuses.....it appears it is the fuses.....low beams still don't work.....
thought maybe i might have blown both bulbs at once....coincidence maybe....so replaced one bulb.....which the filament didn't look blown, with new....still doesn't work......

oh, the dash sez the lights are on when the switch is on but the bulbs are not lit up.....when i pull the key....
and the other wierd thing is my high beams work, but they only work in the "flash mode" when pulling the turn signal indicator towards you....if you push turn signal indiactor forward to "lock" the high beams on....they will not work...???
ok.....I am stumped.....do '02's have a switch, short, or other electrical problem I should be looking for....? does it have something to do with the light leveling device thingy? maybe that is out? (I checked it's fuse and it seemed fine)....
Oh, and it's time for a state inspection....certainly won't pass without low beams...
please help....and thanks in advance....
it sounds like a lose wire or connection somewhere.
it could also be a bad relay (chattering).
you probably need the exact elec schems to troubleshoot the problem.
From the symptoms you describe and the schematics I suspect your problem is caused by the high beam switch controlled by the turn signal stalk. The low beam circuit gets broken by the switch when you engage high beams. If that contact is defective, you'll never have low beams. And the problem you have with the "push" high beam function also points to a problem with the switch. Of course the connector and wiring to the switch should be inspected for problems before you replace the switch. It might be as simple as a partially seated connector.
