Hello guys. Ive bought a set of alu man pedals on ebay, but the clutch/brake does not fit or does not have holes and looks like they are to big, they are like every pedal set that are on ebay for 996 so I dont get it, do I have some kind of other pedal set or do I have to drill holes and stuff to get the fitted? You need to drill holes in the pedals to fit them. Remove the rubbers on the pedals first - you don't use those any more. Place some masking tape on the pedals - then clamp the new covers in place to make sure they all line up nicely, and the holes in the covers are over the pedals underneath. Mark the holes onto the tape below. Remove the covers and clamps, drill your holes using HSS drill bits - start with a small sized bit at high speed. The only cover that uses an existing hole is the foot rest - that re-uses the top mounting hole in the plastic underneath. Just remove the existing screw - place cover over - use a slightly longer screw to fit in place. Then drill for the bottom two, and tap a screw into the plastic through the new cover. I used black self tapping screws rather than the nuts+bolts that came with the kit - this looked better as the black screw head looks like the black rubber pedal trim It also was less difficult to fit - I didn't have to fit and tighten the nuts - the self tapping screws just pulled the new covers on tight, and it's been perfect!
