It has a clean carfax, maybe the seller is just stupid???
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

That seems like the price is too good to be true. That just seems really low.
I bet a pro detailer could get rid of the smell, and you could get a new/refurb engine installed for about 10k or so. My car has 103k and runs like new- but I'm sure the mileage is scary to a new owner.
I've always wondered about how names translate across languages. My name is John, and I go by the sound of saying "John" - so how does Giovanni, or Juan, =John? John doesn't "mean" anything, so how does it translate into Giovanni (besides sounding cooler)? These are the things that torment my mind.
I noticed it said in the description that the right front fender is n/a, while the left front is in good shape. Maybe it had a slight accident. That just seems way too good to be true.
Why isn't he asking more? Even if it had 130K miles that is too low of a price. It has a clean carfax, maybe the seller is just stupid??? It's worth checking out, I wouldn't buy it sight unseen though.

Maybe he is already making a killing on the deal and he is just trying to move it quickly.

Giovannia is Italian for John, Juan is obviously Spanish for John. Most names actually "mean" something, usually in biblical terms though. and heck yeah, Giovanni is an awesome name!
What kind of a deal is that? I got mine off e-bay three years ago for only $20,000. It had never been smoked in and had only 40,000 miles. It just needed a little tlc to make it perfect.
I guess you're right when you say "it had never been smoked in".....it was just a "smokin deal" or maybe a smouldering deal when you found it.
It does look nice now. Amazing what a couple cans of spray paint will do.
The price is right. If you don't believe me, just take any 1999 or 2000 with more than prescribed mileage on it to a dealer and see what they offer for a trade. They aren't going to give you much on the car. They will tell you with high mileage they can only wholesale it and the price at the auctions dictate what they can give.
KBB which is usually high lists a fair car at $16,765 up to an excellent at $20,750 for a trade. I know those figures are fairly accurate. I thought about trading my '99 in and shopped it at several dealers. The Porsche and Audi dealers were all in that range. I won't dignify what a Chrysler or a Honda dealer quoted. Knowing how good my car is, there is no way I would ever let it go for the low prices offered.
But fact is that is where the market is and anyone paying a lot more is not doing their homework. There are lots of good cars going through the auctions. Take your time and check the car out and you can get into a early model 996 at a ridiculously low price.
