Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I noticed a puddle under the driver's side exhaust tip. I verified it's coolant so opened the engine cover where I found the leak! No leaks from any hoses in the area. is this fixable? Leaking from the bleeder valve assembly

POST 2Original post

O-ring/s in the relief valve have failed. You can see where the coolant is crusty around the 2 parts that bolt together. Tank needs pulling out slightly yo get the back ones and they are likely to shear off.

POST 3Original post

That tank looks old. Im betting as soon as u fix that oring it will crack. Good luck.

POST 4Original post

Yes there is a fix. It is "replacing the coolant tank with a factory one."

POST 5Original post

The failed O ring in mine corroded 2 of those screws for the cap so badly they were not removable from the reservoir.
