Can the AC Controls be moved to the top spot of the bottom console? I plan to install a double-din screen and am moving the AC controls to the bottom. I want to put the AC in the top spot where the CD holder is and keep the storage slot...
Is this possible? Everyone i see moves it to the very bottom...

Keith - I think the other guys are correct in stating that you would have to move the AC controls to the bottom slot.
However, you can still keep the storage slot by getting the upper tray to replace the CD holder. The cost of the storege tray is about $30. Your storage slot will be above the new AC location.

the headunit is a kenwood 7019 touch screen dvd/radio unit. its nice, dont know if i really like it but its works well.
as to whats involved i cant really say as my guys did it. but i know i had the pocket there already, took out the CD holders, and just inserted the AC controls into the slot. he had to make a trim piece to fill it all out and put it all back in. ill take more detailed pics today.
