So my new 996 has a shortshift kit installed - it doesn't show up on the option list, so I am assuming it was installed after purchase (duh). I don't know if it's aftermarket or a Porsche kit though.... Anyway - when I shift into second gear, it doesn't feel like it lands all the way. It goes into gear allright, and doesn't pop out or make any strange noise at all, but I feellike it need to go another few millimitres. Naturally I am concerned I'm wearing the dog teeth and I wonder if it isn't something I may adjust. Does anyone here have experience adjusting the sift lever. In my way of thinking, under the console the lever may be hitting a bumper in second, while in first it's got some room to spare. Pictures would be great. I'll post over on Renntech too, and I'll search. Thanks
