Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

20 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Are those Black Tips or do they just need a good cleaning Looks Great Great car, Enjoy and drive it hard

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Man, you guys are critical. Yes , they need to be cleaned. Am going to try some Klotz on them.

POST 4Original post

haha Were not that bad I had the same problem with my tip. I used a buffing wheel with a dremel. It works wonders. In the end I liked the black look and had them painted black with high temp paint. I like the look of black but some don't

POST 8Original post

Nice, looks like mine, only mine has clear upper brake lights. Did the 99's come with the orange in front and rear?

POST 11Original post

Congratulations on your beautiful new car and welcome aboard. I do K-9 and EOD..are we in the same profession?

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes, I have been in patrol for 13 years. Always turn down promotions due to salaried positions. I always make more with my overtime and deal with a lot less stress. Bet that car sounds good with B&B muffler.

POST 13Original post

SO or PD? I love working patrol with the K-9...it doesn't get any better. 22 years, 19 in patrol and I still look forward to going to work. What's your first name? Between the headers, mufflers, & EVO CAI...it sounds great. If you hang around here, you'll catch the mod bug. There are some great deals here and on e-bay. Another reason to work overtime. Again, welcome aboard.

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Police work is one of the few jobs where we get paid to drive fast, gotta love it. Am with a small PD, but use to work with a large S.O. Both have their pluses and minuses. Thought about being a trooper back when they still had 5.0 Mustangs, but decided it was not for me. Will have a new Crown Vic and am curious how it will run. Tom

POST 19Original post

Tom, my K-9 unit is a brand new Crown Vic Police Interceptor. It handles and brakes great. It's still pretty gutless, nothing a blower wouldn't fix.
