Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

29 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Always loved this style, so decided to swap them out

POST 2Original post

They look great. I've always thought they looked cool as well. If you would be so kind as to get a "back" shot of the car, I'm sure everyone here would appreciate it.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Once I get the P-Zeros back on later today I'll post a few more.... Ordered them through my dealer. I had a 15% off coupon with them so I think I paid something like $450 plus a half hour ($50) to get them fitted. I was going to fit them but one of the bolts was not going to come off (they got it off with a torch!) and both off the spring clips were rusted and needed replaced. $50 was a bargain!

POST 6Original post

Cool! They look nice. I wasn't sure if those tips fitted a standard C2 bumper and now I know.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Standard? STANDARD? How dare you call my car standard? I still have another coupon so give me a shout if you want it

POST 8Original post

I dont like these tips as they clearly show that the tips have fake dual outlets. Also, the center gets darken so quickly. I'd just polish mine or look into dansk tips if you like the 2 circle look.

POST 9Original post

Thanks for the offer! How long is it valid? If it's not immediately due to expire I might take it from you, but if it's expiring soon, then my wife might kill me if I spend more money on the car.

POST 11Original post

Nice A$$! The car looks soooo clean and shiny.

POST 12Original post

I don't think they'll fit your bumper unless you changed it to a 02+ one. The 99-01 tip well is smaller. Shame because these look real nice IMO.

POST 13Original post

Good point. I had read that before and had forgotten.

POST 14Original post

right on about the center getting black.. I havent found a way to fix it. Ive tried things like Navel Jelly (which will take anything off) Degreaser and cleaners. Make sure you wash them when ou wash the car, and they may not get black. The PO of my car must have overlooked them.

POST 16Original post

That's cuz it's never been wet (other than an occasional wash)

POST 17Original post

No comment! BTW - that was VERY hard for me to do!

POST 18Original post

I used Blue Magic metal & Chrome polish. It took all of 5mins to get the black soot off.

POST 20Original post

Blue Magic will take car of that Dave...try it.

POST 21 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Got the Sport Classics and P-Zeros back on for the summer, so heres another shot

POST 22Original post

Ooooooo, I'm getting me some of those! I can feel a birthday treat for me and my car coming on So who's got the best deal on the OEM parts? Park Lane? Suncoast? Pelican?

POST 23 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

do we ever stop the upgrading? sooooo addictive! I'm done for this year I promised my wife....

POST 24Original post

Same here... there's nothing that I could say that wouldn't risk me getting banned.

POST 25Original post

Wooooooo Hoooooooo! Parts came in today Will be fitting tomorrow Damn, these tail pipes are huge! - didn't realize from the pictures just how huge these puppies are 'in the tin'. So, how many extra HP are they good for? PS Tim - managed to get this one past wifey without putting you on retainer this time - appreciate you being on stand-by all this time

POST 28 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
