Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have the factory mk1 aero kit on my car, and recently did a facelift which required me changing from Aero 1 to Aero 2 in the front.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Outcome without a verified action link

From what I know, no difference.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Whats the difference between the MKI Aero kit and the gt3 kit for the 99 C2's. Is there a difference. Also I have an opportunity to buy a MKI Gt3 kit with taco wing side skirts front and rear bumpers for 2K brand new (its from an old racing buddy that now owns a company dealing in porsche parts oem and a/m) and its poly too...what would you do? Thanks in advance

POST 2Original post

From what I know, no difference. The Mk1 Aero kit and GT3 kit were the same. You could even add the GT3 "fins" in the rear if you like. I have the factory mk1 aero kit on my car, and recently did a facelift which required me changing from Aero 1 to Aero 2 in the front. 2k is decent for the complete kit with taco wing. You will still need to buy some adhesive and other parts probably and have them repainted. I think a complete kit new is like 5-8k

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

is there a price difference even though they may be very similar? Or are they just caled different things when they're really one in the same. Thanks again

POST 4Original post

That is a screaming deal!! I'd take it if I were you.

POST 5Original post

Let's put it like this... the taco wing alone should normally cost over $3K new. $2K for the complete kit is a bargain - go for it!

POST 6Original post

the real Mk1 gt3 wing has different air intake, its similar to the Mk2 gt3 intakes, these were sold only in Europe. The one in the states have the air intake as the stock engine lids...other than that its the same stuff...Yeah thats a good price!

POST 7Original post

my wing has forced induction................. with a lip and air ducts.
