Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I did a couple of searches but ended up with talk/ mention of alum or CF in their cars but no pics of grey interiors with CF or Alum trim. bought my car used and there are a few scratches on some trim pieces (most notably the center piece (Surrounds the climate control, head unit etc that also houses the buttons for PSM door lock etc, sorry dont know the name for this piece) Its giving me an excuse to spend some money I am not sure how good CF would look with a grey interior, pretty sure the alum would fit in nicely, but want to see some pics if you guys have. Thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

i have a couple of pictures that are somehow imbedded in an email. the combo looks fantastic imo. this car also had the deviated carpeting so it really set the grey leather off well. could try emailing.

POST 7Original post

I blew up the guage photo for a better look. My e-brake and shifter are carbon too. My steering wheel is also but has the ever popular cracks in the clear. JIM

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That looks great!!!!! I was afraid that it wouldnt look nice with CF, but your pics prove me wrong. I am most interested in that center piece that goes around the climate control and head unit (I think someone once called it the Horseshoe) Is that OEM? Anyone have MA Carbon stuff? Thanks

POST 9Original post

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All you evil ppl are making it very easy to get rid of my tax return HAHAHAHAHA CF works very well with a Grey interior!

POST 11Original post

i love the cf look... has anyone tried the ones they sell on ebay for about $299? i might just get those if they turn out nice......help.../?

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Now what about the Alum trim. This is a very subtle touch to grey interiors, but I think it might still look nice.

POST 13Original post

Carbonfiber - How did your CD shelf and console cubby come to be gray? Aftermarket? Love the CF BTW. I have CF e-brake handle, shift **** and wheel but no need for pics now.

POST 14Original post

POST 16Original post

Macho, My CD storrage and cubby are leather covered. All the carbonfiber and extra leather are factory original. Just some of the 31 factory options. My car has a lot of trim options. I would love to know what all those extras added to the sticker price. JIM

POST 17Original post

Wow, I'm just imagining a guy gluing those little strips of leather to each CD drawer front. Meticulous. And not cheap I'm sure. Sorry for the tangent, just curious.
