Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Are black wheels harder to keep clean than silver?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Does anyone have pics of Kinesis K18s with a black center? I'm thinking of powder coating mine black this summer. Here's a quick & dirty photoshop I did to get an idea of what it would look like:
Funny, I was going to post about this today. What's the nicest way of painting/coating/etc standard carrera 5 spoke wheels to black? Not sure if that's a good idea or not...anyone done it?
I'm usually not a fan of black rims but those are great examples above (especially with the polished lip) and I just looked at a white 997 C4S with an Aero kit and black rims, looked very sharp.
Not mine, but I am collecting pics of White ones with This kinds of rims. Got myself a CW 996TT MY02 to which I plan to change the wheels.
Not sure on wheel model just yet. (and the small detail of $$$...)

Drop by Panther Precision Machine in Surrey and check out the "black chrome" paint job on their demo wheel. I'm going to go there on Thursday before the owner of some turbo twists picks up his rims. Barrels in black, with a combo of black/black chrome paint on the spokes.
Once you see some of the options out there, you won't know what to go with.
Cheers,
Those are some seriously gorgeous vehicles. As my C4 is but a week old in my hands I have not caught the mod bug yet, but black on black is absolutely hot.

Hey thanks! I'm around... I'm sure some people would like to see less of me, hehehe.

wow - thanks for the pix - makes my choice even harder.
Carrera Mike - are those GT3 wheels powder coated black or what are they? they look sweeet - my C2 is speed yellow with kit too
Newport996 - I likey the solid black rims without polished lip - what are those?
I'm leaning to solid black wheels...
Thanks for the kind words. They are the OEM Sport Designs/came with the car. They first came out as the standard wheels for the pre 02 GT3. I had the centers painted black. I didn't trust the heating process of powder coating of the local shop here.
Good Luck on your search.
Wow, those Techarts are sweet in black. I actually like the contrasting unpainted metal at the edge of the wheel. It looks a little strange to me when everything is black and there's no delineation between the wheel and the tire.
