Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I can just replace the cats with oem or go aftermarket.

1) If I replace the system with a fabspeed exhaust does that void my 3 year warrenty.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The right catalytic converter on my car is broken. I'm trying to decide how aggressive to be. I can just replace the cats with oem or go aftermarket. I guess I have two questions for you guys.
1) If I replace the system with a fabspeed exhaust does that void my 3 year warrenty.
2)What are some of the exhaust mods you guys did (and how much did they cost). This should be the fun one to answer.
1. By the book, you shouldn't expect warranty to be honored on any issue that could be related to exhaust. The real answer depends on how good your relationship is with your dealership. I've done mods to both my exhaust and intake and still have had warranty coverage of MAF sensor replacement.
2. I have stock cats and headers. I have Agency Power mufflers which I really like. I believe they are a little less $ than Fabspeed. Some people go with cat bypass but if the CEL comes on, see #1 above
Thanks for the replies guys. Hey Gary, do you know a good mechanic in Phoenix for this type of job? I live up in Prescott, and I have a good mechanic but he charges more than the dealler (only game in town will do that).

sold me the mufflers and did the install at their shop. They are in Chandler. Give Dan a call or email and tell him Gary "his 996 test car owner" sent you.
Hey Prescott's beautiful. I've taken many a summer drive on the Prescott, Jerome, Sedona circuit. Best twisties I've ever driven on.
