Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

So...I have a set of coilovers in the garage I'm hoping to get installed real soon that will bring the car back to original ride height as I just had all the tires replaced.
Leading evidence: 'Install real soon' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Adjust camber without more parts of some sort' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. Replaced fronts with turbo Springs, a little bit lower, more rake and stiffer.

Suggestion
I wear out rear tires in less than 5000 kms, the Porsche shop can't adjust the camber without MORE parts of some sort.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have done it twice with OEM shocks and it worked fine both times.
On my 02 c4s I was thinking about lowering. Considering the stock struts are good, do I need different struts to go with some lowering springs. Nothing crazy, 1/2-3/4.
Doing a similar task on my 04 C4S next week. Went with the H&R springs - all my research showed that you
could
stay with the stock shocks/struts, but the lower spring height could possibly wear them out faster or even cause them to bottom out. I decided to replace them with a full set of Bilstein B8's that are designed for a lower ride height- I needed shocks anyway, as mine are still the originals with 97k on them and are pretty soft (if not 100% worn out).
Hope this helps. Good luck
Not at all. I have done it twice with OEM shocks and it worked fine both times. First was with Vogtland springs, and second was with Eibach springs. No worries, I did have rear alignment (camber) issues, but that is to be expected.
Did H&R on my C2, solid upgrade for sure. I am sitting lower, about 1.25". I haven't ordered the Koni's yet, but I recommend them or B8 for the lowering if doing all at same time. Factory struts are just valve'd for factory springs. The lowering are a tad stiffer, so the strut isn't perfect. But by no means worse.
Post lowering #1.
I am happy with the results, the B6 struts work great to make an overall giant improvement. As mentioned, Eibach sits higher in the front for my .2 C2 cab and was NFG.
actually, as it sits with turbo Springs in the front and regular C4 H&R Springs in the back. a bit lower than some of the examples above. stock shocks until the PSS go in.
The previous owner of my 996 put H&R lowering springs on.

Anyone else go through this?
Yeah Bruce, exactly same issue with my car. You need the rear upper adjustable arms. I have torque solutions stainless steel arms. They work perfect. Otherwise, you cant fix it.
