Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi everyone. So yesterday I was driving a new road and came up to a very slow left turn in the road. When taking the turn (at a brisk pace) the PSM light on my dash lit up and it felt like my ABS kicked in. On the return trip I took the same corner at the same speed, but this time it was a right turn and I didn't get the same reaction from the car. I've read something about issues with the ABS wheel sensors sometimes cracking and that this can cause weird things to happen, but other than that I'm at a loss as to where to start to look. Does anyone have a suggestion or has anyone had an issue like this and solved it? Thanks

POST 2Original post

I just posted about the same issues a week or so ago. Mine was 80mph+ hard right hander. I had light PSM interruption, but other than that, nothing too major. I had just replaced my outer tie rod ends and some new tires.....I need a front end alignment. In the process, the shoddy plastic clip attaching the sensor to the strut broke like a toothpick. I zip-tied it back on upon replacement. I am guessing there is a similar issue wuth yours, most likely what you mentioned. Double check the pass front side and make sure all are connected solidly, and the ABS sensor on the outer is clean.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
