Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

To prove my intentions and throwing money in the pit and ridding my p of the dreaded "pumpkin look" I installed the clears and here it is.

I bought it last week and threw in a evoms v flow intake and swapped the eshaust for a custom set based on fabspeeds design.

I can get clears for the small corner section of the headlights but will probably just replace the whole unit.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Whats up everyone. Just to start off this site rocks. On that note, I am thrilled (daily) to be a new p car owner. I bought a 99 911 c2 and am obsessed with it. I bought it last week and threw in a evoms v flow intake and swapped the eshaust for a custom set based on fabspeeds design. I plan on runnin an aero kit and some powder coated 19s soon. Here she is:
Nice ride,
Give us the full specs and more PICS when you can. You're gonna luv the car even more as time goes by.
I just turned the 50k miles on mine coming in to work this am. A few months back, I thought I was growing tired of mine after 2.5 years of ownerhsip, but bought a bmw 325 a month ago and driving that supposed 'driving machine' gave me whole new appreciation for the 'P' car.
The 'B' car was a CAB for the wifey. I do like the looks though. '04 - Electric Red - sport upgrade.

Welcome to the club!
Yes, driving these can and usually is a passion. You will find pretty much all of share your passion.
Your car looks like a very clean example. Congratulations!
Thanks everyone, that last point is the truest. Wedding in April, spend all of our money on my porsche in may, murdered by wife in June. My five month plan.....
YES.... welcome aboard.... for all the old timer's here they are either dead and posting via Porsche Spirit, divorced at which point they can mod away, or EXTREMELY Clever....oh yes....... OR the Wifey has NO IDEA what a Porsche or for that matter what kind of car we have.........
Ok boys, Question 1 of ???????
I got my clears in and the signal is not flashing on the side indicators only. I put the old bulbs in and nothing. Is there a fuse specific to the side indicators? Anybody have this issue?
Ha Ha thanks Tim, and Thansk for the link arleeq. To prove my intentions and throwing money in the pit and ridding my p of the dreaded "pumpkin look" I installed the clears and here it is.
The clear sides look good. Are you going to attempt to get rid of the amber on the headlight unit? I think this is rather pricy to upgrade the headights. However, I seem to recall someone mentioning that they took the amber colored inner plastic out of their headlights. Not sure if your amber is on the inside or outside.
The amber is on the outside. I want to replace them, it is between 750 on ebay. Then the litronics are alot more. Not sure were it lies on the priority. I can get clears for the small corner section of the headlights but will probably just replace the whole unit. Thanks for the compliments guys, you should know your cars are great looking also, its nice to be in admirable company.
litronics on average goes for $1500 for the pair..... expensive.......too bad we don't have someone here converting our halogens to litronics for cheap........ but the clear corners look sharp...... good work.... now we need some wheels to go with that sharp looking beauty
Michael,
Where are you located? I know the odds are slim to none, but I can't shake the feeling - that garage looks so much like a local mall (even though yes, I'm sure they all look alike)...
