But to tell them "check for nails" and they say they saw NONE then within 2 days you get a nail and assume they didn't do their job is assinine.

Either you had a nail or you didn't and you saw a priori and pointed it out for repair ro you didn't have a nail.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I wonder why you thought there might be a nail in the tire in the first place and why you didn't check it yourself before dropping it off at the dealer? That way you could have said "there is a nail in the tire. Please patch it."
Of course, I always take my tire work to a tire store. I'd rather have some dude take off my rims who does it 100 times a day, not someone who does it 3 times a month. And a lot of dealerships don't even have tire mounting and balancing equipment - they just take your car to the local tire store for you and charge you extra for all the trouble.

Did you not look at the tire yourself? Please. This falls into the what the hell are you asking this for category. Glad to be of service. Just amazed at some of the crap that people come up with sometimes. Always looking to blame somebody else. No wonder everybody laughs at our lawsuit happy society.
