Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

checked pressures when I parked and was looking for cause of noise.
0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
It would be cheaper than ruining a perfectly good $300-$500 tire, because I know I will not be checking the pressure with a gauge every time I get in it !!!
Leading evidence: 'Check pressures' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'tech' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Check pressure' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suspected cause
It is also likely the tech that installed them had a cheese sandwich or cheeto dust on their fingers, which may have attracted the mice.

Suggestion
Unless you check your pressure every time you start to get in your car it can happen to you.

Suggestion
I found a small screw in it after inspecting after separation.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Started as a faint thrum and got more pronounced.
Got her home and had a flat bed take it to my Indy.
Just so happens was going in for plugs and coil packs anyway...
Get it on the lift and ..gulp!
One big bulge.
Not time for new tires but will replace all four.
Happy motoring everyone...
exact same thing happened to my driver rear tire. Same location about 3 months ago. The outer and inner layer separated with no sign of external damage. This was on some crappy manufacturer tire
If you have the warranty card, or receipt, this should be replaced under partial warranty. I don't see any wheel or tire impact damage. Treadwall separations are not related to a road hazard, although your tire seller will try to tell you otherwise.
edit: I'm not a fan of replacing good working tires without cause. The general answer I give is to research the 'bathtub curve of failure rates' on google, or your other search engine. Pretty informative.
This is usually caused by under-inflation. These low profile tires will have a small leak (nail or screw)that can cause the pressure to get low at about 20psi the tire will overheat on the highway and cause separation . The tire pressure can get down to 15-20psi and you can't tell it by looking., it can happen overnight or while your at work. Unless you check your pressure every time you start to get in your car it can happen to you. I just had this happen to me last month on nearly new tire. I found a small screw in it after inspecting after separation. I have been seriously looking at the aftermarket TPMS systems. It would be cheaper than ruining a perfectly good $300-$500 tire, because I know I will not be checking the pressure with a gauge every time I get in it !!! lol
+1 for this, have had exactly this experience, small nail like bit of metal, new Bridgestone-S04 with ~3000 miles on it on the drivers rear. Not at all visually obvious that pressure had dropped critically low, I just got some kind of vibe from the change in tire noise on the way to work and took a close look when I got home...scared myself silly that I had driven 2 hours on that tire that day once I saw the bulge.
What shop do you get your air at? Some of your "second tier" service stations use substandard air and this can cause early separation and dry rot. Use a top tier, Porsche approved air and this will never happen. It is also likely the tech that installed them had a cheese sandwich or cheeto dust on their fingers, which may have attracted the mice.
Sorry...couldn't help it.
Definitely pursue the warranty replacement. Had a brand new motorcycle tire sidewall start to split on me (gulp) after 2 years....prorated and replaced.
As far as replacing all 4, why? Just replace that pair, the other pair is from a different manufacturing lot and I wouldn't be overly concerned
