Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

We put the Michelin Winter Sports on the 996 a couple of weeks ago, and when we have them swapped out in a couple of months we're going to replace the summer Conti's with Goodyear F1's.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Yesterday we had a new set of Bridgestone Blizzak DM-Z3 put on the old, reliable, '89 Cherokee (off roaded this SUV on 3 continents). The summer tires we had removed were some gawd-awful Fulda Tramps (I hate that name). One Tramp is marginal, one is OK, and two have a couple more years on 'em.
So the question is: Should I put put two new, quality, summer tires (other than Fulda Tramps) on the front and the two Tramps with the most tread on the rear? Or should I just bag it and get 4 new tires and eBay the Tramps?
We don't ever recommend mixing on a vehicle because you just don't know what you are going to get. Ditch the no-names and get something better on all four corners.
Please give me a call if I can help.
Amir - yes you are correct. But the English never did learn how to spell correctly!
BTW - have you ever heard a Brit pronounce this word? ==> ALUMINUM. It is hilarious!!!
Anyway, the original poster of this thread is in Germany, so all bets are off concerning the correct spelling of tire/tyre.
Tire (USofA) Tyre (Island Monkeys) Reifen (German) and I know where Concord is, being a native of Halifax Co, and a child of the Roanoke river basin, a grad of UNC, former R&D lab rat in RTP.
Stilton - How long have you been in Germany? How do yo like it?
I live in Concord (Cabarrus County), N.E. of Charlotte. There are actually 6 towns in NC with the name Concord. What's up with that??? Great state planning! You know, I think we had this "discussion" about a year ago. Here are the counties in which each "Concord" is located:
Cabarrrus - about 25 miles north-east of Charlotte
Duplin - about 50 miles north of Wilmington
Person - about 50 miles north of Raleigh/Durham
Rutherford - about 70 miles west of Charlotte
Sampson - about 30 northwest of Concord in Duplin County
Yancey - about 40 miles north of Asheville
"British" English?? I think you mean English. Reminds me of an Texan work colleague who told me he was looking forward to spending a couple of weeks in French France!
And as for the hilarious way we spell and prounounce aluminium - it's exactly the way you used to a 100 years ago, and how the rest of the world still do. Check out

for the history of the aluminum / aluminium debate.
We English are very touchy about our language - it's almost as important to us our inclement weather!
Cheers

I was just kidding around. Our buddies the Brits also think a trunk is the the "boot", a girl is a "bird", a smoke is a "***", and Z is pronounced "Zed".....
Where's Dell?

Been here since '91. Now close your eyes. (Actually if you close your eyes you can't read the following, so cheat!) The gently rolling hills, the trees, fir trees and hard woods, streams and rivers, you'd find them familiar, much like the Old North State. Architecture is very different. And the baloney about unlimited speed on the Autobahn is totally bogus. Nummer one is most stretches of the Autobahn have posted speed limits, and nummer two is there's a lot of traffic, and we all know that it's impossible to drive faster than the person in front of you. So, yes there are some unlimited streatches of the Autobahn where you can drive whatever speed you wish. But you'de be a happier sailor if you took your ride out to Montana and took yer chances. The wife (her 996) has a personal best of 138mph, and I got 132mph.
Germany is ok. I would rather be living in Wilmington.
Yeah, yeah, yeah! <=== OOPS that IS British! (Beatles)
OK, let me start again!
Agreed. On THIS side of the "pond"... a "boot" goes on your foot, a "bird" has wings, a "***" is... well, it's a "***" (Gay person)
"French France" that's a good one!
"British" English?? That was a good one too! I guess he should have said "the King's English!" But wait... since your Monarch is a Queen, wouldn't it be the "the Queen's English?"
Mark - just having a little fun with you. Actually, I find England very intriguing! I have never been to England but would really like to visit there sometime soon.
Tim - make the trip, the UK is very different to the US and wortha visit just to compare.
I had a great time in Lexington last year, only annoying problem was that people kept commneting on my accent and asking where I was from. When I said UK, they thought I was talking about the University of Kentucky! Just goes to show how much our influence has waned.
Cheers
