Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I had forgotten what kind of magic the poly glass cleaner can do. Just used it on my cab rear plastic window and it's like getting a new one. Recommended for all you cab owners with plastic rear windows!

POST 2Original post

My firm makes a plastic polish/scratch remover - if anyone needs some, PM me and I'll send it on out. No cost, no obligation. I'm the marketing VP, so I "have" to do this : ) All the know-it-alls will please note that I have not disclosed the company name nor am I endorsing anything. This is simply one rennlister to another, doing a good deed.

POST 3Original post

Is Polyglass Cleaner the brand name, or is it made by someone else? Sorry for the dumb question. Whatever it is, I would like to try it.

POST 4Original post

I posted a thread a few weeks back looking for suggestions on removing scratches & stains on the plastic window, so I will def give this a try. Where would a guy get poly glass cleaner and is it aggressive enough for minor scratches? P-dog - you have mail. Thanks for the offer.

POST 6Original post

I've used Plexus for years, from my MRoadster to my 996 Cab. Its the best that I've seen..... http://www.plexusplasticcleaner.com/frames.html

POST 9Original post

Subtitle ( la the movie Airplane ): I also highly recommend Plexus for cleaning the plastic posterior window of the 996 cabriolet.

POST 10Original post

You have to order a boat load of Plexus. No single servings as far as I can tell. JW

POST 11Original post

Is there anyone in the LA area that would be interested in splitting an order of Plexus with me? It looks like it's over $100 when you include shipping for a minimum order. I can buy it and then mail or drop of half, third, a fourth, whatever. Alternatively, is anyone sitting on a case of Plexus and would like to sell some to offset their cost?

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I bought the Porsche variant from Pelican parts but I guess you can find similar stuff in many shops. http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/...ORCAR_pg11.htm

POST 13Original post

You can buy Plexus by the can from here....no need to buy a case!!!! http://www.autogeek.net/plexplasclea.html

POST 14Original post

If you have clouding or major scratching in your plastic window, Plexus won't help. The only product I have found to take out clouding/scratching is Novus, which has a 3 step/product system called Novus 1-2-3. The 3 is the most abrasive, which MUST be followed with #2. After you use Novus 2, you can use Plexus in lieu of #1 if you wish, and use Plexus to maintain the window. When I bought my used Cab, I couldn't even see through the window. http://www.noscratch.com/novus/

POST 15Original post

I bought mine (Plexus) from my local race shop off the shelf for $9 a can!

POST 16Original post

Plexus is also available at any Boat US / West Marine. It is about $10 a can here in Chicago.

POST 17Original post

Plexus should also be available at your local motorcycle dealer/indie......great for face shield cleaning!!

POST 18Original post

Some of the best plastic polish I have seen is made by INMAR it is used on plexiglas/ising glass on boats. Pretty good stuff.
