Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Is anyone running this size tires on a narrow body 996 C2? I have 18x11 et 65 rear wheels and I am toying with the idea of purchasing Michelin Pilot Sport 2's size 315/30-18 for the rears. Is anyone running that wide? Any rubbing?

POST 5Original post

What if you have the ROW030 ssuspension? No need to roll the fenders, even if stock?

POST 6Original post

Whoa! 315's?! On a narrow body? And here I am wondering if 285's will fit.

POST 7Original post

I have 315s on my 19" rear wheels with a 25 profile, no issues

POST 8Original post

I run 285's on my 996CAB with RoWM030 and 315's on my GT3 for the track.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

285's were a factory option on Mk II 996's. They will fit Mk I's just fine.

POST 10Original post

What potential side effects would you have on a NB 996 by installing 315/18 on back? How about acceleration, handling, premature wear and tear on drive shaft/differential? I mean, I love the looks of fat tires as much as the next guy, but there must be some reason Porsche doesn't fit them that wide! Cheers, Fadi
