I want another used 996 and was curious about the possibility of finding another open minded 996 owner looking to change from coupe to cab & C2 to C4 willing to work out a fair deal.

After owning MY01 C4 cab for almost a year I'm already thinking about my next P-car, which will def be a C2 coupe or targa. UnFortunately (or fortunately) I like to keep things fresh by switching sports cars every year or two. Prior to the 996 I was switching makes/models but now it will just be models. Is there a specific place, forum or publication that, in addition to "for sale", has a "trades" section? I know it may be easier to just sell mine and then look for the exact 996 I want next, but working out a trade (+ $) might be interesting.

I've not had luck with trade. it's too hard to find a trade that works on for 2 people. are you going to buy a new car? if so, trades can help you save taxes if you are not in CA and deal is done w dealer. otherwise, i don't see the advantage by combining 2 transactions. 996 is hard to sell as is IMO.
