I'd rather pay a decent price for the seller if the history and test drive line up & your requirements are met.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm looking to buy a 03 Targa and the seller doesn't have the original Window Sticker, Do any of you guys have copies of your that I could look at and match up options codes to packages and etc.
Doesn't have to be a perfect match but if someone has the sticker with the Technic and Comfort packages along with others possibly?
It would much appreciated.
Thanks
Mike M
I'd pass if he doesn't have the sticker. Too much important information that only comes on the sticker is lost. I'm not willing to gamble on a used car unless it's 100% documented and that includes the window sticker
Couple of you guys, thanks, I did the Vin decoder, I know all but obscure codes, Like 21431
Does he have window (Monroney) sticker ? Maybe he does I didn't ask that as one of the 150 questions I did ask of this 35 year PCA member, thats cutting back on a great set of Pcars. I was thrilled that I was able to get all the options codes off the option code sticker under the hood and maintenance book.
Now I'm just trying to match them up to the 2002 PCNA Order and Price guide.
Scammer, or not 100% completely documented 15 YO purchase, BFD. If you know what to looking for it isn't that big a deal, COA, I didn't ask if he showed it at Parade this year or not. He has a 356 for that. a original 75' 911S that he won't ever sell. What I did see is, it's got 31K miles, all maintenance stamps , he had the RMS and an L&N IMS bearing installed at one of the most respected Race shops in the country. It's has no marks on the full leather, 6 or7 road nicks that had been repaired correctly, Brand new correct tires , no wheel scuffs, No rattles or squeaks from the top, both open or closed. Nothing modified from original. Yeah, I feel I'm being scammed. I was just asking if someone had a 2002 911 Targa window sticker photo. Good luck with that Volvo. Who owns them now?

Go on the maintenance record. Guy above was just joking around. Read about the stuff to look for in Targas & focus on the health of the drivetrain imo. I'd rather pay a decent price for the seller if the history and test drive line up & your requirements are met. Money spent on a purchase price can reduce pending costs, at least for a little while. Maybe 2/3rds of the value is the drivetrain, then a third for a roller.
Not sure what a window sticker will do for you....if you are trying to figure out what option codes mean, you need this:

I cannot believe both you and I have the Corvairs in Northern CO. I have just completed replacing the seals on the push rod tubes and the valve cover gaskets. Hope to have it running at the end of the month.
Sorry 996 fellows but I had a Corvair before I bought my first 911 in 1970. (They had stopped making Corvairs. What could have been........)

100% agree, I approach it the same way, sticker would be nice, but there are more important things. Honesty is one of them.

The gentleman had everything else, maintenance and parts receipts from initial Dealer delivery to today @ 31,201 miles.
Including RMS and IMS bearing replacement receipts from one of the better Race Shop in this part of the country. No signs of metal contamination when before preventive replacement when repairing RMS initial leak, records state.
Midnight Blue Paint and Graphite Grey interior show no signs of wear what so ever, with new Conti's, P Battery, Car cover, P Mats, and battery maintainer.
Thanks to all who provided helpful information.
Much appereciated.
Mike
