Seeing that my P-Car is not my daily driver I have been deliberating putting in a lift. Due to ceiling height restictions probably looking at the scissor type lift. Was wondering how many actual use a lift, and if so what type/recommendations.

I highly recommend a lift...any type. We use the lift WAY more than I ever thought. For example, we decided to change out the clutch in the M3 as long as we had the drive shaft off (for another job). Without the lift, no way. Btw, we have a simple drive on lift, gets the car up about 2 feet or so. Easy enough to park the car on it when not in use.

I have the same as Jimq does above. Very nice product and is worth it's weight in gold! These things are awsome to have around. I just dropped/reinstalled the engine/trans in my 993 using the lift. Made it pretty easy. Got mine here: http://www.asedeals.com/mid_rise_lift.html MD-6XP No affiliation
