Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

Your rear offset for the wide @ss is 45-47 and those wheels are 63, hence the reason Porsche uses the 17mm spacer.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi will rear offset of 63 work on my 2004 C4S. The stock wheels have an offset of 45. Experts only please. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Steve

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anybody with a C4S put GT3 wheels on=8x18, and 11x18????????????????Help

POST 3Original post

I'm pretty sure that another rennlister "Zookie" has them on his C4S. Here's the link to his car on renntech.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Pongo, That was a very helpful link! A real plus since my car is the same color! Those wheels look pretty sharp! Steve

POST 5Original post

Steve, you would just need to add a 17mm spacer. That offset is for a narrow body. Not hard to do at all, in fact, the sport technos that are on the Turbo's and C4S's are really narrow body offset wheels with a factory 17mm spacer!

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey, The guys at wheel enhancement say they bolt on with no spacers? Uh oh. Dell, are you sure? the renntech link showed no indication of the use of spacers. I know the Gt3 is a narrow body....................???hmmmmmmmm

POST 7Original post

Your rear offset for the wide @ss is 45-47 and those wheels are 63, hence the reason Porsche uses the 17mm spacer. The reason alot of the narrow @ss guys use the sport techno is they just don't need the spacer and they fit perfectly.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Damn! Where do i buy spacers?

POST 9Original post

They should come with them. If not, you will need to call you favorite dealer (price friendly) to order a set. The only way to get the Techno's in the proper size was special order from Porsche. Thus, they came in a 45 rear offset not requiring the spacer.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I ordered them from Dave @ W/E. They are great to work with! Now I am spaced out!! Steve

POST 11Original post

Glad to hear you got it all worked out ps. is it as hot up there as it is down here? Right now it is 96 with a heat index of 106!

POST 12Original post

Hey Dell, welcome to North Carolina!!! This heat is really atypical for us. Yes, we do get a few mid-90 days, but usually not this many!

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

HEY, I am in San Diego. Nice town. I sold my 993 to a fellow in this area. I wish I could go for a ride in it and here those RSRs again! Watching speed......................there is ashow about drifting??...................Man, when you grow up in New England and it snows, drifting was a hobby in my mom's buick estate wagon??? Now it is a spectator sport?? I do not get it? Lose traction on purpose, throttle steer around a track at slow speeds, and then intentionally create pollution=great sport...............................................and it seems most of it tales place in CA?? Dude, that smoke is bogus..............whatever? It's like that furious movie and the drivers are SO skilled.
