Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I recently purchased my new to me 2001 996 coupe with the aero kit. It had 12,400 miles when I drove it off the lot. I have been a PCA member since 1978 and have owned a number of 911's over the years. This is the best one so far.

POST 3Original post

I'm jealous - I want an aerokit Love it! Red calipers are a nice touch! Justin

POST 5Original post

Nice ride! Congrats and thanks for sharing the pic!

POST 6Original post

Looks like the twin of my car. Very nice choice! Andy

POST 8Original post

Sweet. I have the same color with aero kit. Just have different wheels. Love those Sport Designs. -Paul

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

[QUOTE=pjalexandre]Sweet. I have the same color with aero kit. Just have different wheels. Love those Sport Designs. Thanks for all the nice comments. My car came with the same wheels that are on your car. While I like those wheels, I wanted it to look as much like a GT3 as possible.

POST 10Original post

The sport designs make the Aero 996 look complete. My car didn't have a badge on it, and people mistook it for the GT3. I love the look, but I've decided to go with 19"s. Will the sport designs fit the Boxter? My neighbor wants to buy them off me, but I was not sure if they would fit. Any ideas?

POST 11Original post

Beautiful !!!!!!! Thank you for sharing the pic. Nicely set and framed too.

POST 12Original post

Yours is the car I started looking for and ended up with this....close like step brothers And, the red is perfect! Very nice!!

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I like the upgrades found on the 2002-on models but this one had the low mileage I wanted, was the color I wanted and was only 60 miles away!!!

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks. I used a long lens to bring the buildings closer to the car. They are at least ten miles away in the background. My wife told me I was going to be run over as I was on my knees about 200 feet away from the car in the middle of a mall parking lot!!

POST 16Original post
