Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Any thoughts whether the storage method I used caused this, because the summers have only 4K miles on them and were rock steady above 80 before i changed them out?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

When I put the snows on in late November, I put the summers on the floor of the garage-layed them on their side with each of the fronts on each of the rears. In other words, 1 tire on top of the other in 2 piles. Put the summers on this last weekend. It's still early (haven't been able to drive the car at speed on several different roads) but I'm encountering some wheel shake at 70+ on my drive in on the GW Parkway. Feels like they need balancing. Any thoughts whether the storage method I used caused this, because the summers have only 4K miles on them and were rock steady above 80 before i changed them out?

POST 2Original post

I've stored my summer tires for many cars the same way without any problems. Maybe some of the wheel weights fell off?

POST 3Original post

You should have your wheels balanced regularly. Your storage method is fine, even if they weren't stored you would need to balance them regularly.
