Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

48 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok, I'm ging to try to post some pics....of my 2002 C4S. Just brought her home on Friday.

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm getting a error message that my file is too big (875.5 KB) and the limit is 146.9kb. Help!

POST 3Original post

I was just helped last week for my first photo upload attempt.. Same problem, was given http://www.resize2mail.com Works like a champ!!

POST 4Original post

I had the same problem. You will have to crop the ones oyu want to post. Going forward, try resetting the camera to the size required by this site. You can then get the whole shot in

POST 5Original post

Either insert the link to the place they are hosted OR you will need to resize them. Resize2mail is one good alternative. You can also change the size very easily with your photo viewer on your computer. I couldn't tell you on a PC since I am a Mac guy. If you have a Mac, just open iPhoto and select the pic you want. Then using the "share" dropdown menu choose "export" which allows you to manipulate the size.

POST 6Original post

If you have a "real" computer (a.k.a. PC... not a Mac [sorry Dell, I couldn't resist starting a flame war on Monday morning ]) you can resize your pics with MS Paint or with a photoshop software.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

pics of the C4S with my daily driver a 2005 Audi S4. Both are 6 speeds.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

ok, I'm getting the hang of this. More pics....

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

and some picutres of my daughter. She'll be 2 in August. She already knows the difference between a "car" and a "porsche". They say their mind is like a sponge, I'm teaching her everything I know. I just got back from [;aying in a hockey tournament in Toronto. That's why she's wearing a Maple Leafs Jersey. Of course, she puts it on the one day I'm not home.

POST 11Original post

Great looking C4S! I have a picture of my then 3y/o daughter in a Ranger's jersey... I have to find it.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Your poor daughter....I grew up an Isles fan.

POST 13Original post

Nice looking P-car! Thanks for sharing the pics!

POST 14Original post

Great looking car -- is that Metropol Blue with supple leather?

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

yes, it is. Had looking at one with a beige interior and I couldn't get past the beige dash and steering wheel. Was hoping to find either Blue or Black leather interior.

POST 16Original post

Ugh, I just felt the wind knocked out of me... well at least your daughter is back in the original 6.

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes. At the hockey hall of fame they were selling kids jerseys for $140. I found that Leafs jersey at the pro shop where I was playing my games for $40. Only problem, in Toronto is that I could only find Leafs jerseys. Any hockey jersey is better than no hockey jersey

POST 18Original post

Now that's something we can agree on, oh and the C4S!!

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes, that's true. Since I've lived in Jersey my whole life, I also root for the Devs since they came here in 1984. BTW who did the Rangers play in the playoffs this year? Did they make the playoffs?

POST 20Original post

You're killing me. They get swept by the Devils in the first round. The Olympics killed the Rangers last year, so many of our top players went and there was nothing left in the tank when they came back. They just signed Brendan Shanahan, so I'm excited about this year.

POST 22Original post

Gotta love the Lapis! The kind of blues I like to engage in every day As for the jersey, the only one I own is a TB...after I lost my Caps jersey by getting oil from another car on it :ducking:

POST 23 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I know who they played. Just messing with you. The Devs killed the Rangers and then the Canes killed the Devils. What does that say about the Rangers? Hopefully in twenty more years, the chants will start again.....1994, 1994, 1994

POST 24Original post

You know what they call the Oilers? First loser. It really doesn't matter how far you get if you don't get the prize... losing is losing. And 1994 just doesn't sound as good as 1940 so I don't think it will catch on.

POST 25 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

LVDell, You just moved to North Carolina so I don't think you are suffering like Riad and I. Can you give my thumbs up on the C4S? G

POST 26Original post

I guess you are right. Didn't start rooting for NC till this past year when we knew we wanted to move to NC. But growing up a BoSox fan really let's me feel your pain. Fortunately, the pain has been eased with the World Series year before last. By the way, the C4S is looking nice, but that is one cute as a button daughter! Starting her early waring the hockey sweater at such the young age. At least you know she will grow up a sports fan.

POST 27 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

BTW I'm a Yankee fan too. Hopefully she plays hockey like her dad, but no pressure

POST 28Original post

Then you must really be hurting. This World Series drought you are going through must be painful

POST 29 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Not really, I'm 35 yrs old and remember no pennats between 1982-1995, which included having the worse record in baseball in 1989. I admit winning three World Series in a row, and four out of five, and making the playoffs ten years in a row does spoil you. As long as the Red Sox don't win another one.

POST 31 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry, I can never root for the Sox. However, I do love Fenway Park

POST 32Original post

I can't blame you since the feeling is mutual. But I do love me a good Sox/Yanks series!

POST 33 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looks like we'll be fighting for the division again this year.

POST 37Original post

Thank you, that was last year. 4 is a fantastic age, if I could only view the world through her eyes for just a day I think it would make my year.

POST 38 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Both. S4 - IMO best four door sports sedan there is. Great in the dry, wet, snow, weather doesn't matter anymore. With very minor mods, ecu chip, sway bars and cat back exhaust, out performs most cars on the street. handling is amazing with the sway bars. Accerlation is about equal to the C4S. Only downside is gas mileage. C4S - my dream sports car (only owned for a few days so its hard to comment on everything). The C4S IMO bestlooking 996. Awesome brakes, handling, power. Best sports car ever. I'm very lucky to have both. If I had to choose oneit would be the C4S but I love them both

POST 39Original post

I think the S4 will accelerate on par with the C4S until about 100mph, then the C4S will start to pull away from the S4. A friend of mine has an S4 with the chip and that's what I have noticed.

POST 40Original post

RaceCarDriver, your C4S is just great looking - Lapis is a terrific color on any Porsche, particularly good on the C4S. BTW, as regards the Yankees, I'm from Philly, so I'm ready adopt any other team besides the Phils to root for! Enjoy your car - I have an '04 in Atlas and love it completely. Phil

POST 41 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I believe it. though I haven't had the C4S up to 100mph

POST 42Original post

i am SO pleased to see my old c4s in its new home! lapis is a terrific color, especially with the meridian supple leather. i always used the mercedes leather conditioner to keep it looking sharp and feeling soft. btw, the c4s gets to 100 mph pretty easily enjoy rcd, you might not find youself using that s4 as much any more!

POST 43Original post

rcd: i forgot to mention: what a cute daughter!! i know she'll love it in the back of the c4s. you won't need the child seat for long. i'll bet that by next summer the regular porsche back seat will be a great fit!

POST 44Original post

Never figured this out, but shouldn't it be "Toronto Maple Leaves"?

POST 45Original post

Well, they ARE in Canada, so I guess that explains a lot!

POST 46 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks, yes still in the process of fitting the child seat, but I'm just about there. Haven't had too much time to drive it yet, too busy with work during the week, but looking forward to doing a lot of driving this weekend. Thanks again, Ignacio, your car has a very good new home.

POST 47Original post

OOH, awsum car!! Wish I had the supple-leather.

POST 48 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks. Supple-leather is awesome.
