Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I know a lot of SCCA guys run these on their Hondas, Toyotas, etc.

Alan, a few NASA guys run these on their Skylines, the two I've talked to have been very happy.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Any thoughts/feedback? http://www.ultrarev.com/Ksport_Kontr...04-p31304.html I know a lot of SCCA guys run these on their Hondas, Toyotas, etc.

POST 2Original post

Eli, You may be onto something with these for a track vehicle. The spring rates if I read them right are F 336 R 671 which is stiffer than the GT3 setup. Its a shame the shocks are not 2 way adj. Looks like an interesting set and price.

POST 3Original post

These shocks are available of Honda and Hundai. Not sure about the suitability for a 996 on track use.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Alan, a few NASA guys run these on their Skylines, the two I've talked to have been very happy.

POST 5Original post

Hummm...interesting...more info please...standard 2.25 diameter springs that can be sourced in different spring rates???...camber plates and mono ball's included?? I personally think they need a little more front spring rate to match that rear...but for that price I'd just buy another set of front springs if it's a standard diameter unit and be done with it. Andy

POST 6Original post

Adjustable spring perch for height adjustment . I wonder how much? On a lighter note..... Eli....the car is doing great! The new tranny is in, along with a new coolant tank & I couldnt be happier.....

POST 7Original post

Those look nice, is that 1000 each or for the set?

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Glad to hear. I still have mine! That for all 4 corners...

POST 9Original post

so no one from the porsche world has used these yet?

POST 10Original post

I'd be skeptical....ESPECIALLY for a street car....A street suspension is stressed out way more than a race car suspension. Much more mileage, rougher roads, and the expectation to be somewhat comfortable. For a track only car it may be fine, but I would say, and this is just my opinion, that for a street car this would be a BAD choice. the spring rates are VERY stiff and the resulting ride would be not good at all on surface streets...plus how much wear and tear can they take on the streets? 10K? 20k? 50k? We dont know...the only guys who have used them are track guys on Japanese cars right?
