Anyone know if there is a way to remove the leather part of the handbrake handle (up by the button)? I don't really want to replace the whole lever, but will if I have to... Thanks in advance! -td

I had the same problem a year ago when I first bought my P car. No one I could find knew of a way and so I replaced the whole handbrake. After I completion, I attempted to find a way to get that portion off the old one and wound up braking it. It was rivoted on and was a pain from my recollection.

stock ones are real cheap. or you can upgrade to alum or CF one.
